Sandra Dias is a bridal fashion designer, who has built her reputation designing for known celebrities.

Before her website she was getting clients simply via referrals from previous clients and established bridal magazines. Our aim was simply to bring her awesome product to the online market, where she will be selling pre-designed stocks.

Sandra Dias is a Brazilian born designer with over 20 years experience now working exclusively in the UK.  Working with a range of fine fabrics such as Duchess Satin, French Lace and Silk Dupion, Sandra is best known for creating unique and classically inspired bridal gowns that capture the dreams and personality of each bride to be. She offers beautiful custom made and ready to buy dresses that combine elegant styling with affordability.

The Brief.

Working across multiple digital touch points our task was to develop a digital brand presence for Sandra Dias and build great digital experiences for their passionate customers.

Response.

In response to the bried we redesigned Sandra Dias’ brand identity and developed an online store for them. The store was designed keeping the wedding nature in mind and focusing heavily on bridal dresses.

We carried out numerous photo shoots after carefully selecting adequate models for the dresses. The website was developed with simplicity in mind with a multitude of functionality when it comes to actually processing an order.

We wanted to create a brand identity that will portray luxury from the initial look. The identity was nothing but the principal designer’s name and was implemented with a lush feel to it, with bold colors and abstract fonts. We designed there clothing tags with the same lux feel.

The site was designed keeping simplicity as its core structure for both customers and Sandra Dias’ staff. With fullscreen sliders and click-select options the site managed to capture some media attention from the bridal industry.

A full product management system was developed to manage orders and customers, also giving Sandra a unique platform to upload new products.

With clear navigational structure to all the core sections and large images as product display the site did see a rise in visitor interactions.

Once again the product picture dominates the page. With hover over zoom, functionality, where the image zooms in on a particular position when user hover with their pointer.

Because Sandra does custom size bridal dresses, we also had an option for custom size, where the users can enter then own dimensions or request someone to go and measure them.

With clear instruction during checkout, the site also has a “gift voucher” option, where gift vouchers could be purchased separately, so that someone else can redeem it while checking out. Perfect for providing a voucher as a wedding gift.
